Email Deliverability
How can I make sure assessment invitations are delivered?
Assessment invitations and other system emails are sent automatically from the About my Brain platform. While we take steps to support reliable email delivery, some email providers and corporate email systems may apply spam, security, firewall or allowlisting filters that can prevent emails from reaching the inbox.
To help ensure emails are received, we recommend checking your Spam or Junk folder and adding About my Brain to your safe senders list.
If you are using a corporate or work email address with additional security settings, your IT or system administrator may also need to allow emails from About my Brain.
Which email addresses should be allowed?
Emails from the About my Brain platform may be sent from:
admin@aboutmybrain.com
support@aboutmybrain.com
hello@aboutmybrain.com
We recommend adding these email addresses and the aboutmybrain.com domain to your safe senders or allowlist.
If your organisation manages these settings, please ask your IT or system administrator to allow these addresses and the aboutmybrain.com domain.
This can help prevent assessment invitations and other important communications from being blocked or incorrectly classified as spam.
What should I do if an assessment invitation has not arrived?
First, check your Spam, Junk or Quarantine folders. Some email systems may automatically filter assessment invitations before they reach your inbox.
If the email cannot be found, check that the email address provided is correct. Spelling mistakes and incorrect email addresses are common causes of failed delivery.
If you are using a corporate or work email account, your IT or system administrator may also need to check whether emails from aboutmybrain.com are being blocked, quarantined or rejected by your organisation’s email security system.
Once these checks have been completed, the assessment invitation can be resent if required.
Are About my Brain emails authenticated?
Emails sent through our system use email authentication measures, including DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail).
DKIM helps receiving email systems verify that an email is authorised by the sending domain and has not been altered during delivery.
However, email authentication cannot override the security, spam or filtering policies applied by individual email providers or organisations.
What else should I check?
Please make sure the email address provided to About my Brain is correct. A single incorrect character can prevent an assessment invitation or other important communication from being delivered.
If you continue to experience problems receiving emails after completing the checks above, please contact us for assistance.
