When people daydream, the network in the brain that activates the most is the ‘default mode network’ (DMN), says About my Brain Institute founder Silvia Damiano.
“That allows us to bring our attention from the external environment into our internal world, which is very helpful to develop the capacity to do introspection,” she tells HR Daily.
